Encouragement Today

Do The Trials of Life Have You Broke Down and Weary?

I saw this scene yesterday while I was driving down the road. As I looked out over this beautiful field, God just blessed me with a sense of peace that He is in control of everything in our lives. We just have to learn how to release the control to Him and walk away.

Why is that so hard though? Why is it that we feel we can do a better job than our Creator who knows every step we will walk, every season in our life we will pass through? He knows every valley and mountain top we will stand in or on. He is there to wipe away our tears and share in a happy dance with us during the joys in our life.

Why wouldn't we just give Him our "everything"? I have to confess that I don't have the answer as I am struggling with this very question right now. Once we walk out of the valley we are in and God blesses me with the answer, I will be sure to come back and share the answer I find. Until then, I would suggest you continue to look up and He will provide the strength you need until you too have been delivered from your valley or season.

Oh weary and worn out momma, hold on to this verse from Psalms and He will bring the peace we need in our lives.

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.
                                                ~ Ps 46:1 (NLT)
