Encouragement Today: Are You Dancing in The Rain?

 

Are You Weathering A Storm in Life?

 

 

If you find yourself in a storm of life; in need of comfort, lean on God.  Allow Him to comfort you so you can comfort others in their time of need. God will in turn reward with the encouragement you are so in need of. This is a promise to us which God stands on still today.  

 

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.  ~ 2 Cor 1:3-4 (NKJV)

 

When I find myself beat down and heavy laden, God always gives me the strength to build up others who are in need around me. When you are able to take "you" out of the picture, you will find God will bless your storm with the encouragement you are in need of.  

 

 

My encouragement today is to turn to God if you are being persecuted with the storms of life.  His promises to give you the strength to get through it still stand today.  It is important to remember however, He may not dry up the rains or even the clouds, but know if he doesn't, He won't leave you abandoned in the storm to weather it unsheltered.  Look up and see He may have provided an umbrella over your head to keep you dry.

 

Look down as He may have offered you a pair of pretty pink goulashes to dance in the puddles with.

 

Then lastly, look to your side because if He is really gracious He may even have blessed you with a friend to dance with you in the rain to make the storm a little more pleasant.

 

Whatever it is He's to bless you with, remember to be thankful for His provisions. Show Him your thankfulness because He is a God of appreciation. He won't leave you in the storm alone without the provisions you need to continue to weather it until He dries up the rain and brings the sun out again.
