Holiday Cookie / Favorite Recipe Exchange

Looking for Friends to do a Cookie Exchange
As I was putting away dishes from the goodies I made for my husband to take to work tomorrow I had a thought. I have always wanted to do a Christmas Cookie Exchange, but most of my friends that I would invite don't live anywhere near me so here's my thought.
Would you like to join me here and exchange cookie recipes? We can post our favorite holiday cookie/dessert recipe and then try the different recipes on our family and friends this holiday season.  Post your recipes under the comment block below and I will re-post them to the tab holiday favorites.  I am looking forward to trying some of your favorite recipes. I will post my favorites as well.  Let's make this a fun holiday season for our family and our friends!!!

  1. A new one I found or tried anyway is the dump cake. 1 can of any kind of soda, one can of any kind of fruit and 1 cake mix (I used yellow). put in a dutch oven or could be just 2 deep skillets together and bake until done in the center
gas oven was 30 min. at 350*
electric oven was about 45 min at 350* (also this is high altitude so that makes a difference. kids gobbled it up.

  6. Impossible Coconut Pie
    • 2 c milk
    • 3/4 c sugar
    • 1/2 c Bisquick Baking Mix
    • 1/4 c margarine or butter
    • 4 eggs
    • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
    • 1 c flaked coconut

Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Lightly grease pie plate. Place all ingredients in bowl or blender. Cover and blend or use a mixer for 15 seconds. Pour into pie plate.

Bake until golden brown and knife inserted in center comes out clean, 50-55 minutes. Refrigerate any remaining pie.

Note: I use a graham cracker pie crust and put the ingredients into it and follow above recipe.
