Homemade Dog Food
We are tight with money and this was my frugal way of feeding our dog. So hoping he will continue to like it as much as he liked it when I first made it.
The ingredients I used were: ground turkey, brown rice, kale, spinach, peas, carrots, and ground flaxseed. I cooked it all so the vegetables were soft. Then lastly I used my food processor to blend and chop it all up. By using the food processor it blends all the food into a consistency that looks like soft dog food. This consistency is more acceptable to my older dog.

Shape dough by rounded teaspoons into balls. Mix the cornmeal and cinnamon together in a bowl and roll balls in mixture. Bake 8 minutes at 400. Remove from baking sheet and cool on a rack.
WARNING: BE SURE TO ALERT YOUR FAMILY AS THEY LOOK LIKE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIES! They might be surprised if they ask what they are eating and you tell them a dog treat.
