Just my random thoughts

Oh what a busy day. When I woke up this morning all sleepy and groggy I had no idea that I would be blessed with time in my day to get so much done.

I was so tired this morning and it just would have been nice to just stay home, but fortunately I didn't give in and I got to church anyway. It was a great service as always. We sang some praise and worship songs which always provide encouragement and inspiration, but who would have ever figured it would be possible to experience that same feeling through Christmas music. Our church rocked out to some Christmas songs today and it was so uplifting.

When I got home God blessed me with the time to go outside and get some much needed raking done. Duck helped me which was nice. As a result I was also able to finally put my flower beds to sleep for the winter. When I finished up that project then we were able to put the swimming pool to bed. Yes, even where we live it was to late for it to still be uncovered. Life has been difficult to say the least for our family for some months now so some stuff just hasn't gotten done yet. In addition to getting some work done outside, I was able to take care of some stuff inside as well.

I am so relieved that I was able to get all this done today. It has been weighing heavy on me, but now it is done for the winter. Thank You God for blessing me with the time to free up some brain space today. I know it was as a result of only You that enabled me to do all this. It is my prayer now that you will bless me with a Proverbs 31 kind of week, Lord. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen.
