UPDATE: The latest is that little Sawyer is doing well and needs prayers for a continued healing. Mom however, is struggling with her healing. She is in a large amount of pain and is sick from it. Pray that God will heal her body and take the pain away.
UPDATE SATURDAY: New posting titled 180 for Karen and Sawyer on their blog (see above for website)... They are doing amazing. The prayers are being heard by God. Karen came around 180 degrees yesterday and came off the IV pump for pain meds and was able to get up and walk around and eat. Sawyer is doing remarkable. He is free from all pumps, monitors, catheters and IV. He is doing amazing. If all goes well today is the day that the entire family will go home. As Dad stated, " We all came to the hospital on Tues and it looks like we will all go home together today."
Thank You everyone for your prayers. The family has for sure felt and seen them first hand. Continue to pray for them as they have a lot of healing ahead of them. Pray for continue healing and pain to decrease with every day for Karen and pray that Sawyers body will continue to accept Karen's kidney and continue to heal up. Thank You again!!!
UPDATE SUNDAY: Both Mom (Karen) and Sawyer went home from the hospital yesterday. Huge answer to a prayer. Continue to pray for healing, comfort, and strength for both. This is just awesome news for a long journey this family has been on. :)
prayers go to them today. please let me know how things turn out.
ReplyDeleteI will post when I know the results. Under Momma Ducks blog list you will find info as the dad/husband Toby posts updates. It is the blog praying for Sawyer... if you want to check back through out the day. This is where I get my info from. Although I might hear more through my homeschool group. Not sure on that one.
