Honoring the Memory of Our Fallen Heroes

 

With Memorial Day approaching I am here to remind you Memorial Day is a day to remember and reflect on the lives of our fallen Heroes. So many times we show our appreciation and gratitude towards our living Heroes, but we forget there is a day to honor them, it is called Veteran's Day.

 Let us take this time now to reflect on the lives and the sacrifices of our fallen Hero this Memorial Day.

 

These men and women who gave all were everyday people like you and me. They had lives that made them husbands and wives, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters, friends and co-workers, and lastly they shared a common bond of brother and sisterhood to their fellow Service Members. Their lives touched many people around them. They lived a life that showed true heroism and courage. So much so that they laid down their life for the very freedoms we here in America take for granted.

How many people do you see on the news that protest the right to their freedoms in which they feel were being violated, but not one time did they think about the Heroes who lived, fought, and died so their very rights and freedoms would be protected. The rights of the American people do not come free. They come at a cost. Thankfully by those Service Members who were willing to give all they had in order for us to have all we want.

 

 

 

There is a HUGE price for freedom and our American Heroes paid that debt. We need to be sure to show a sense of gratitude at this time of the year so their lives and memories won't be forgotten.

 

 

Please take this time to reflect on the "real" meaning of the weekend.  It isn't about the picnics or the pool parties. It isn't about the hot dogs or the hamburgers.

 

It is about the lives these Heroes lived and lost. They each represent a picture of what true dedication to Country really means.

 

When you stop to take the time to really think about the sacrifices they made, could you do it?

 

Thank You fallen Heroes for having paid the ultimate sacrifice of your life so that we as a Nation can continue to live in the land of the free.

 

  We can't take that for granted or the lives of our Heroes will have been taken in vain.

This just isn't an option.

 

Take the time to reflect on what these men and women gave to you and me.

Their lives and memories will never be forgotten!
