Day 1 ~ New Beginnings

The new year has begun as well as our new life. It will be exciting to see what blessings, experiences, and challenges God has for our family.  I have never been a person to make resolutions in the past and I am not sure as though I would call this a resolution as much as I would call it a new life, a new beginning.  It is my intention to track what God is going to do for us this year.

I saw this picture posted on face book tonight by The Old School House Magazine and it touched my heart, which caused me to think about how neat it would be to track our story and to share the twists and turns our journey through life will take us.  God placed it on my heart to share with you, my readers, what He is doing in our lives so you can visibly see what He is up to after all these years post Bible times.  God is still alive and working in our lives today.  Sometimes we get so busy, frustrated, and worried that we can't see His hand in the trials or the joys of what is happening today.

As I post our story I will be labeling the subject block the day number (if all goes well) of which day of our story we will be on.  This will allow you, my readers, to know the difference between these posts and my regular ones.

It is my prayer and hope as I begin this journey that it will provide you with an encouragement that will touch you where you may be in your life.  If this occurs, know it was all God's work as I am leaning on His guidance for the words to write.
