Duck's Blanket Drive For Children In Need


Ducks homeschool teen group had an activity where they all got together and made no sew blankets for a local organization that gives blankets to children in hospitals to make their stay a little more comfortable. This organization also gives blankets to our local State Troopers, local Police and Fire Departments so they are able to give them to the kids who are involved in traffic accidents or house fires. The blankets allow our first responders the ability to comfort children when comfort is needed.

I am very proud of these kids. Both girls and boys showed up with their material ready to make these blankets one afternoon. What a worthy cause to be a part of. Thanks kids for giving a part of you this day to help comfort children you don't even know.
