We spent the weekend grilling outside and playing in our back yard pool. It helped to bring our family back together again thus producing some much needed quality time. It seems like it has been forever since we had quality time together and so the heat wave helped to bring a sense of renewal of time together to our family. God works in mysterious ways and so I am thankful that as a family we were able to take this difficult situation and make something good come out from it.
I wonder if we live in the same state, Oklahoma? We are supposed to get rain today too! I hope the weather man didn't lie again.
ReplyDeleteBrownie, it looks like we aren't from the same state. We are on the East Coast. How ironic that our weather is similar though. We did get storms and rain. How about you?
ReplyDeleteI am glad that you got rain yesterday. Ours is going to get warm again (back up to 90's) but lots of chances of rain this week.
ReplyDeleteWe did and we got more this morning. I was going to try to mow before it moved in, but an orthodonist appointment slowed me down. Hopefully I iwll be able to mow later. We will see. We sure did need it though. Now we replaced "heat" with muggy instead.
