Tropical Heat Wave... Dropping???

It appears that our heat wave is going to finally break today.  I sure hope it does. Some much needed rain is suppose to come in and if it does, both my flower and vegetable gardens will be thankful. How about all of you? Have you been trapped in this heat wave as well? If so, what did you do to make the best of this bad situation?

We spent the weekend grilling outside and playing in our back yard pool. It helped to bring our family back together again thus producing some much needed quality time. It seems like it has been forever since we had quality time together and so the heat wave helped to bring a sense of renewal of time together to our family. God works in mysterious ways and so I am thankful that as a family we were able to take this difficult situation and make something good come out from it.

Let’s Water Our Outside Friends Today

During this heat wave it is easy to forget about our fine feathered friends, but let’s not. As I was watering my vegetables and flowers I remembered to fill my bird bath for our little feathered friends. How about you??? Do you have a bird bath that you forgot about? Let’s fill them up today so they too can have a way to escape the heat.

 

While I am thinking of it as well, let’s take it one step further and put out a water bowl for all the little critters. Whether they are your stray cats or you little bunnies and squirrels. I bet they too would love to have water in this heat.
