Encouragement Today

 

Are you in a season of struggling either in your personal life or your homeschooling world?

Please find comfort in the promises God provides us in His words below.

At some point in time when I feel led to write about my trials and struggles then you will understand where these verses have come from, but until I do, I am hoping the words God provides us helps you to find a place of peace and comfort in your own heart.

 

My words of encouragement today would be to find that place of solitude in your day where you remember to see God's beauty that is all around you. Is that solitude a field of buttercups in a field you drive by everyday and never noticed them or is it a shaggy dog walking down the street with his owner? Take the time to stop and look around and see what God is revealing to you today.

 Take this time to let God  speak to you.

 

Slow down long enough to hear His voice. I know this is a hard place to go to in our busy hurried up worlds, as I have found I lost this art of slowing down, but when I do, the peace God provides is "amazing".

 

Slow down dear friend. God wishes to use our quiet time to speak to us.

Yes, this includes me as well. 

 

 

 

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength;
    they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary;
    they shall walk and not faint.

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.

God will provide you with the strength you need to sustain you for what lies ahead.

Are There Trials in Your Life?

As our trials get harder,

our blessings get bigger.

 

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

It is time to look up, take a deep breath and just lean on your heavenly Father who knows all about your situation.

Just rest your weary head in His arms today.
