Christmas Tree Desert

Just had to share one of our cool Christmas treats. Duck and I made these edible Christmas tree cupcakes for Christmas dinner desert.  They are super duper easy to make. 

Directions:

* Take a standard cake box (your choice of flavor)
* Bake into cupcakes
* Take cone shaped ice cream cones and put on top of cupcake
* Make your choice of frosting and color green
* I added a touch of powdered sugar for a fresh snow fall look
* Lastly, added sprinkles for the look of Christmas lights.

What's For Supper???

I am feeling energetic today so I am going to make 2 meals today to make tomorrow easier.  Do any of you ever do this?  If I am going to run my oven, then I will make the best of it being on and maximize my meals.

Today I will be making shepards pie with homemade corn bread.

Tomorrow will be making beef tips and gravy with butter noodles (which I will make these tomorrow) and green beans from the garden. I will be making buttermilk biscuits today for this meal.

I need to make some bread as I am running low and thinking about lemon bars for desert for both days. I will keep you posted if I pull this part off.
