Honoring Memorial Day

Honoring our Fallen Heroes and Praying for the Families They Left Behind

As you go about your day today, be sure reflect upon our Fallen Heroes and the lives they lived as well as be in constant prayer for our Gold Star Families they left behind.

Today should be a quiet day of reflection.

Reflect upon our Fallen Heroes and the lives they lived as well as the sacrifices they made. By doing this we will also remember the families they left behind as they mourn and remember the loss of their loved ones with hearts which are crying today.

So many times we forget these Service Members were "ordinary" people too. They were people who were loved by many. They were sons and daughters, they were husbands and wives and they were friends to many who loved them dearly.

Let us do our part to "Never Forget" our Fallen.  They died a Hero and it is up to us to be sure they aren't forgotten.  By doing this we will show our support to the many Gold Star Families who are touched directly by the loss of their Hero.

Remember, today should a day of prayer and reflection to Honor those who gave all.  By doing this we will touch the lives of the families who are left behind.

A Day of Quiet Reflection… you are not forgotten

memorial day 4                                                                             Memorial Day

A quiet day of reflection for those who made the ultimate sacrifice on behalf of our Country.

Let us not forget the price they paid for all that we as a Country enjoy today.

memorial day 3

                                           FREEDOM

Think about your ability to worship and praise God whenever you want.

Think about your ability to say what you wish whenever you want.

Think about your ability to hang your flag on your flag pole in your own yard everyday.

Think about your ability to vote and elect your public officials when it is time for elections.

Think about your ability to go to school every day and learn all that you want.

Think about your ability to be secure in your own house without someone just coming in whenever they want.

Think about all that you have and all that you do everyday as a result of the sacrifices our Service members past and present have made.

mem day 2  These are all freedoms we daily take for granted, but were paid for by the sacrifices of our fearless Service Members, in crisis’ all over the world. To them this day of remembrance we say, "Thank You, for all you did in the name of freedom for us today.” We will never forget all that you have done and all that you have given as we go about your daily lives. I will fly my flag with honor and pride in remembrance of you today as a visible way to say, Thank You, you have not been forgotten.
